France

I've been bad. I know it.
I promise you'll get more updates eventually and lots of stories. You will. Just when I'm not busy beyond belief. So probably.... London. Then there will be a storm of catching up to do.

Anyway, since it's 11 pm and I get up at 7:30, here's some pictures from France (of their horses) as a image update.

Their Lusitano Herd Sire: Ofir (17 y/o)

So what do you think, does this guy needs the gelding bus?

One of his foals

Lightening, the spotted cob. He's my favorite to ride, not sure why. He's not especially easy or amazing, I just like him.

Wanna see if there's anything good in there?

One of the wee cob foals. "If I duck under this plant, you cant see me. Right?"

A club lesson

I jumped, (one day only) on this horse. However jumping is incredibly painful on my back. Also the curve in my spine (via an old accident- involving broken vertebra in my back)  is made worse when I'm using stirrups.Which is probably why I feel much more comfortable, secure and confident riding without stirrups. I swear, I'm the only person who's thrilled with "Stirrups up!"

Back to the Lusy boys

The lake at the end of the pasture/driveway

The young Lusy stallions fighting. The rearing one is the cryptorchid they're treating with hormone injections after surgery failed. The other two are 3 year old stud colts.

So that's all for now!
